Good morning Jack fans,
The Jacks played in the Graphic Edge Bowl yesterday and were defeated by Ellsworth 39 to 7.
The Jacks fell behind 7 to 0 in the first quarter and were able to tie it up at 7 to 7 in the second quarter. Ellsworth went back on top 13 to 7 after a Jacks turnover just before halftime.
The third quarter saw Ellsworth add to field goals to their score to make it 19 to 7 heading into the fourth quarter. In the fourth Ellsworth competed a short pass and turned it into a big touchdown to put the Jacks down 26 to 7. The Jacks fumbled and thru a pick on their next two drives which resulted in a short field for Ellsworth that they turned into touchdowns.
The Jacks had trouble all day moving the ball on offense. Defensively the Jacks played ok for the most part of the game. The Jacks end their season at 8 and 3 and look forward to the offseason.
Thanks for following the Jacks and Merry Christmas to all

Hi Jack fans,
The Jacks traveled to Rochester for semi-final action and came away with a 24 to 21 loss in overtime.
It was a close game all the way. The Jacks jumped out on top first with a fumble recovery for a TD. Rochester came back and scored the next two touchdowns to go ahead 14 to 7. The Jacks fought back and scored again and the game was tied at 14 at the half.
The second half turned into a defensive struggle as neither team scored in the third quarter. Rochester scored first in the fourth quarter and then the Jacks came back and tied it with around 4 minutes to play. The Jacks picked off the Yellowjackets on their first play. The Jacks were able to get to the 28 yard line and attempt a 45 yard field that was short.
In overtime the Jackets and the ball first and ended up kicking a field goal. The Jacks got the ball next and were unable to move the ball and got sacked to end the game.
Was a great battle all game long and sure a tough game to lose. The Jacks wrap up their regular season and playoff run playing very good football.
Thanks for checking in on the Jacks and hope you all have a great week.

Good morning Jacks fans,
Yesterday the Jacks hosted their first playoff game ever and came away with a big 52 to 19 victory over Vermillion Community College. The Jacks fell behind early 6 to 0 and promptly moved the ball down the field to take a 7 to 6 lead.
The offense continued to show signs of improvement again this week and the defense had a couple of big plays that forced turnovers and the Jacks were able to return for touchdowns. Overall a great team effort by the Jacks. All phases of the game played really well. The only negative for the Jacks was way to many penalties. We will have to clean that part of the game up if we want to continue on the road and keep playing past this weekend.
The Jacks will travel to Rochester this weekend to play them. The day and time of the game has not been announced as of yet. The Jacks thank you for all the support and hope you have a great week.
Go Jacks!!!

Hi Jack Fans,
This past Saturday the Jacks hosted FonduLac and came away with a 43 to 6 victory to raise their record to 6-1 on the year. The Jacks had some early opportunities to get the ball in the end zone but had to settle for field goals. The Jacks finally got in the end zone in the second quarter and took a 13 to 0 lead in at halftime.
In the second half the offense was able to get a couple more touchdowns and the defense came up big with a fumble recovery for a td and an interception return for a td. The Jacks had a great game on defense limiting them to 6 total yards of offense. The offense got untracked a little bit and hopes that it can keep it going this week and the rest of the season.
This week the Jacks travel to Wapheton for the end of the regular season and then the next weekend the Jacks will host a first round playoff game. The time and opponent has not been decided yet.

Good morning Jack fans,
The Jacks hosted Vermilion on Saturday for homecoming and came away with a 13 to 12 victory.
The Jacks jumped out to a 13 to 0 lead in the first quarter and had to hold on to come away with a victory. The Jacks defense set the tone if the first quarter with 4 interceptions but the Jacks gave
it right back with 2 interceptions in the red zone.
The defense had another solid outing and the offense continued to struggle with penalties and turnovers. The defense limited them to minus yards rushing for the second week in a row which is something that hardly ever gets done.
This week the Jacks are at home again looking to lock up a home playoff game on the 25th with a victory. Kickoff is set for 12 noon this Saturday.
Have a great week and go Jacks.
