Hello Lumberjack fans,
Saturday the Jacks traveled to Wahpeton for a game with the Wildcats. It was a beautiful afternoon for football. We ended up losing the game by the score of 45 to 6. We actually were in the game for most of the day being down 26 to 6 with 6 minutes to play and the wheels fell off. On the offensive side of the ball we were able to move the ball at times in the first half but were hurt with 3 big penalities.
We received the second half kickoff and drove down the field and scored in a great drive. On our next five possesions we turned the ball over and gave Science great field position. The defense for the most part had a pretty decent day. We gave up 3 big pass plays that resulted in a couple touchdowns for them. We are seeing some improvement, but are really having trouble being consistentant play after play. This Saturday we play at home against Ellsworth CC at Noon kickoff.
